aem ems help?

i just got my wideband to tune my aem ems, and everything is going perfectly--except idle.

if i get it stoich and non-lopey, the a/c will kill it.

if i keep it rich, it gets kind-of lopey, but the a/c doesn't kill it.

if i change the idle% and keep it stoich, it's really lopey, idles at around 1200, but the a/c doesn't kill it.

does anybody else have a smooth-idling aem ems map that they'd like to share so i could figure out my problem?

i wanted to just wait for the new efi pms, but they kept me in limbo since feburary to get me one, so i had to jump on this aem ems i found for cheap [img]confused.gif[/img]

By the way where are you located? Maybe someone knows a AEM local to you that might be able to offer some assistance?

i've tried the ems board, they haven't been extremely helpful. they just say "adjust the injector phasing" and end it at that; they don't tell you which way to play with it, among other things.

i'm in huntsville, alabama... closest tuner is in atlanta.

Hey ya, a fellow TI mod on hostboard.

I just spoke to Doug Friday. The upgrade option sounds exciting. The new handheld will do every 500 rpm plus it will have the feature to datalog to a media chip next spring. And the back light on the unit will just make my day. Doug said the new handheld will be flash programmable, so any time there is an upgrade, it can just be flashed with new programs. (cheaper upgrade for all pms users)

I am very excited about it. He is going all out for honda/acura one last time. I think PMS will bring competition to both hondata and aem. (for both price and common people easy to use factor)
